On March 2, 2025, the New Year Symposium of Wuxi Jinmao Company was grandly held at the Luneng Marriott Hotel in Wuxi. All middle-level and above cadres of the company attended the meeting, focusing on the theme of "team, belief, struggle, and transcendence" proposed in the year-end summary meeting, and deeply discussed the company's future strategic layout and implementation measures.


At the beginning of the meeting, officials from various subsidiaries and departments spoke freely, comprehensively summarizing the work of the past year from different perspectives, reviewing the achievements made, and deeply analyzing the existing problems. At the same time, valuable opinions and suggestions were put forward for the development of the company in the new year. In terms of team building and personnel training, the officials mentioned in their speeches that this is the foundation for the company's sustainable development. When discussing the work plan for 2025, the attending officials engaged in lively discussions on key issues such as business expansion, overseas production transfer, and control of overseas production. With the expansion of global supply chain layout, overseas production transfer has become an important component of the company's strategic layout. The company will actively explore the construction and operation of overseas production bases, optimize the control mechanism of overseas production, ensure the improvement of product quality and production efficiency, and enhance the company's competitiveness in the international market. 


Chairman Yang Nan's speech pushed the meeting to a climax. Firstly, he conducted an in-depth analysis of the impact of the current international situation on the company's development, focusing on the US China and its domestic and foreign policies. He pointed out that the trade policy of the United States has a profound impact on the global economy and the Chinese economy, especially the tariff policy, which has a significant impact on the economies of exporting countries. The repeated imposition of tariffs on China will further compress the survival space of traditional export models. At present, the situation of foreign trade is severe. We need to closely monitor the dynamics of the international market, adopt flexible and variable strategies, and make every effort to cope with this wave of foreign trade winter, and find vitality and development in adversity. Subsequently, Chairman Yang Nan put forward clear requirements for the company's development in the new year using four key words: "going abroad, striving, teamwork, and pragmatism". (1) Going abroad: Adapt to changes, actively layout, the foreign trade environment has undergone fundamental changes, and working abroad will become the norm; (2) Struggle: Maintain a sense of crisis and be proactive. We must abandon the mentality of being content with the status quo, always maintain a sense of crisis and be proactive, and contribute to the development of the company; (3) Team: Strengthen collaboration, cultivate talents, and the foundation of team building is transparency, trust, and timely communication. Employees need to strengthen communication and collaboration with customers, overseas factories, and overseas offices. At the same time, strengthen the reserve and cultivation of young talents, and build a team that strives for entrepreneurship; (4) Pragmatism: Focusing on core work and improving efficiency, as the core of suppliers and supply chains, business expansion is necessary for survival and development of the company.
