China's textile and clothing exports continued to maintain rapid growth in the first month of the third quarter

The China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce announced on the 7th that, driven by the expansion of external demand and rising prices, textile and clothing exports continued to rise in July. In US dollars, China's textile and clothing exports in July continued to grow on the basis of the previous month, with a significant increase in clothing exports, with growth rates of 18.5% and 8.8% compared to the same month and the same month, respectively.


Textile and clothing exports are calculated in RMB: From January to July 2022, China's cumulative textile and clothing exports amounted to 1228.99 billion yuan, an increase of 12.7% compared to the same period last year (the same below). Among them, textile exports amounted to 581.45 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9%, and clothing exports amounted to 647.54 billion yuan, an increase of 13.5%.


In July, China's textile and clothing exports amounted to 224.12 billion yuan, an increase of 23.6%, and a month on month increase of 6.5%. Among them, textile exports amounted to 91.64 billion yuan, an increase of 22.1%, and a month on month increase of 1.8%. Clothing exports amounted to 132.48 billion yuan, an increase of 24.6%, and a month on month increase of 10%.


Exports of textiles and clothing in US dollars: From January to July 2022, China's cumulative exports of textiles and clothing reached 189.35 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.4%. Among them, textile exports reached 89.8 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.9%, and clothing exports reached 99.56 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.9%.


In July, China's textile and clothing exports reached 33.222 billion US dollars, an increase of 17.5%, and a month on month increase of 5.3%. Among them, textile exports reached 13.584 billion US dollars, an increase of 16.2%, and a month on month increase of 0.6%. Clothing exports reached 19.638 billion US dollars, an increase of 18.5%, and a month on month increase of 8.8%.
